Learn About Bone & Gum Grafts
Bone loss and gum recession can happen for different reasons. But, the good news is that we can offer you a solution to correct both bone loss and gum recession.
We can give you a bone graft to replace where your bone has lost volume after tooth loss or due to periodontal disease or trauma. Gum grafts can replace where the recession has taken place or inadequate soft tissue exists due to previous extraction or trauma.
The materials we use are called Allografts because they come from a donor that has been extensively tested for sterility and safety from the tissue bank that supplies the graft material.
Their processing follows strict guidelines set by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
