How It Works
After Dr. Gatgens examines the decayed or damaged tooth and determines your needs. He may remove a layer of enamel and the weak parts of the tooth. This process gives our team a solid base to restore your smile. Then, we’ll take a digital scan of your smile.
Dr. Gatgens' CEREC milling machine uses the digital scan of your teeth to create a model to cover your damaged tooth. Like a 3D printer, our in-house CEREC machine builds dental restoration during your appointment, so you don’t have to wait weeks for the tooth you need right now.
Once the milling machine has finished building the crown, Dr. Gatgens will attach it to your tooth with special dental glue. With that, you and your smile are all set!
