After serving families throughout the Dickson community for over 50 years, Dr. James Rountree DDS is officially retiring. Dr. Ford Gatgens of Accent Smile Center is positioned to take over his established practice and will begin seeing hygiene patients there as soon as July. Major procedures will continue to be carried out from the main Accent Smile Center location, which has an impressive technological set-up that includes lasers, digital scanners, and CBCT x-ray imaging.
Accent Smile Center is known for their conservative state-of-the-art procedures and customized care for the whole family. Dr. Ford Gatgens offers a full range of general dental services as well as cosmetic and restorative options. These include porcelain bridges, fillings, laser dentistry, crowns, TMD treatment, and much more! Dr. Gatgens is also able to assist patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea, lip and tongue ties, and those in need of periodontal therapy due to cancer, osteoporosis, and heart disease. Incorporating Dr. Rountree’s practice into his own will allow Dr. Gatgens to offer exceptional dental care to more Dickson families.
After so many years caring for his patients and keeping their smiles in the best shape possible, Dr. Rountree deserves a special send-off. There will be a small retirement party for him and his long-time office associate Linda Oakley on June 24, 2021. Dr. Gatgens and the Accent Smile Center team wish Dr. Rountree well and truly hope he enjoys the years ahead.
The new practice is located at 606 Henslee Drive in Dickson.
